Henna !!

Henna !!

I am wild about African cultural traditions (and fashions), Bollywood and Middle Eastern Make up and styles, right now. This goes against the 80's inspired runway looks...but hey, fashion should be unique! You should not be a cookie cutter image of your neighbors...Expressing yourself leads to true fashion. That's my humble opinion...

So, I want a traditional henna tattoo... Here's what I found:

"As far back as 1200 B.C. the ancient Egyptians were using henna on their nails and hair. Henna was also used to dye animal skins, textiles, and men's beards. Once the henna plant's cooling properties were discovered, painting the skin became a way for the desert people of India to cool down their body temperatures."
